What does wellbeing look like for you right now — in this season of life?
Being gentle with myself and my body as it changes. I have a new appreciation for what it’s capable of creating — something I’d always heard people say, but now I truly feel it.
Do you have a daily or weekly ritual that helps you feel grounded or more like you?
Going for a walk with a podcast, taking an “everything” shower, or cooking a nourishing dinner to share with my husband.
What’s a wellness product or practice you swear by at the moment?
My skincare regimen from RATIONALE — it completely changed my skin. I’m obsessed.
What’s your go-to snack when you need energy but don’t have time?
Crisp apples, a Greek yoghurt pouch, or a Betty Bar!
If you had a personal mantra or affirmation for motherhood, what would it be?
I trust my body.
I’ve had a history of hypochondria, but surprisingly I’ve felt very calm throughout pregnancy.
How has your view of self-care changed since becoming a mum (or preparing to become one)?
Slowing down has been so insightful. I used to feel lazy if I didn’t run 5km a day or smash out cardio. Now, I’ll take a walk and an iced matcha. I also drink far less coffee, and that’s made a huge difference.
Why do you love Betty Bars — and which flavour are you most likely to hide from the rest of the family?
I always have Betty Bars in the pantry — they feel like a treat but are genuinely full of nutrition for me and baby. The texture is perfect, especially with a cup of tea. Salted Caramel is my favourite... luckily my husband’s a chocolate guy!
What’s something small you do that makes a big difference to how you feel?
Fake tan. Haha.
What’s one lesson from motherhood (or pregnancy) you wish more women were told?
Patience. The 40-week wait feels never-ending — I just want to meet her!
What does being a mother (or becoming one) mean to you in just one word?
Love.
